We reserve the right to modify, suspend, replace, or discontinue any service at any time.
3. Grooming Services Are Not Veterinary Services
FurFab Pet Grooming is a grooming and spa business. We are not a veterinary clinic, and our groomers do not diagnose, prescribe, treat, or cure medical conditions.
Our services are not a substitute for professional veterinary examination, diagnosis, treatment, dental care, or emergency assistance.
Cosmetic teeth brushing is limited to gentle brushing of accessible tooth surfaces. We do not perform dental scaling, plaque scraping, tooth extraction, gum treatment, polishing, or other veterinary dental procedures.
Our hydrotherapy-style jacuzzi service is intended as a relaxing grooming and spa experience. It is not veterinary rehabilitation, medical hydrotherapy, physical therapy, or treatment for any health condition.
If we notice a potential health concern, such as a skin abnormality, lump, wound, infection, ear irritation, parasite, dental concern, pain response, or mobility issue, we may inform you and recommend that you consult a licensed veterinarian. Any observation made by our team is not a medical diagnosis.
4. Appointments
Appointments are strongly recommended and may be required for certain services.
Appointments may be requested by telephone, through an approved booking system, through social media, or through another official communication channel made available by FurFab.
An appointment request is not confirmed until you receive confirmation from FurFab Pet Grooming.
Appointment times are estimates. Grooming completion times may vary depending on:
- Your pet’s coat condition.
- Size and breed.
- Temperament and behavior.
- Selected services.
- Special care requirements.
- Unexpected grooming conditions.
- Delays involving previous appointments.
- Equipment or staffing circumstances.
We will make reasonable efforts to provide an estimated completion time, but we cannot guarantee an exact pickup time unless expressly agreed in writing.
5. Customer Responsibilities
The customer represents that they are the pet’s legal owner or have full authority from the legal owner to request and authorize grooming services.
Customers are responsible for:
- Providing accurate contact information.
- Providing truthful and complete information about the pet.
- Disclosing medical, behavioral, and safety concerns.
- Arriving on time.
- Remaining available by telephone during the appointment.
- Providing an emergency contact when requested.
- Picking up the pet promptly after notification.
- Paying all authorized service charges.
- Following pre-service and post-service instructions.
- Treating employees, contractors, customers, and animals respectfully.
The customer must notify FurFab of any changes to the pet’s health, behavior, medication, mobility, skin, coat, allergies, or veterinary recommendations before every appointment.
6. Required Pet Information
Before providing services, FurFab may request information regarding the pet’s:
- Name.
- Breed.
- Age.
- Weight and size.
- Vaccination status.
- Veterinarian information.
- Medical history.
- Allergies or sensitivities.
- Current medications.
- Seizure history.
- Heart or respiratory conditions.
- Skin or ear conditions.
- Joint, spine, or mobility problems.
- Pregnancy status.
- Previous injuries.
- Grooming history.
- Bite history.
- Anxiety, aggression, or fear responses.
- Special handling requirements.
Failure to disclose relevant information may create safety risks and may result in the suspension or termination of the service.
7. Vaccinations and Health Requirements
Customers are responsible for maintaining vaccinations and veterinary care appropriate for their pets.
FurFab may request proof of current vaccinations or veterinary authorization before providing certain services. Requirements may vary depending on the pet, service, health circumstances, or applicable legal requirements.
Pets showing signs of a potentially contagious illness may be refused service. These signs may include:
- Persistent coughing.
- Vomiting or diarrhea.
- Unusual discharge.
- Open or infected wounds.
- Suspected parasites.
- Severe skin irritation.
- Fever-like symptoms.
- Unexplained lethargy.
- Other symptoms that may create a risk to the pet, staff, or other animals.
Customers should contact FurFab before arriving if the pet has recently been ill, exposed to a contagious condition, or placed under veterinary restrictions.
8. Elderly Pets and Pets With Medical or Special Needs
Senior pets, puppies, pregnant pets, pets with disabilities, and pets with medical or behavioral conditions may require additional time, assistance, modifications, or specialized handling.
Services for these pets will be performed only when our team believes they can be completed with reasonable safety and comfort.
The customer acknowledges that grooming may involve additional risks for pets with:
- Advanced age.
- Arthritis or mobility limitations.
- Heart conditions.
- Respiratory conditions.
- Seizure disorders.
- Skin sensitivity.
- Recent surgeries.
- Chronic medical conditions.
- Severe anxiety.
- Previous grooming-related trauma.
FurFab may require veterinary authorization before providing services to a pet with significant health concerns.
We reserve the right to modify, shorten, postpone, or discontinue a service when continuing may create an unreasonable risk.
9. Behavioral Concerns, Aggression, and Bite Risk
Customers must disclose any history of:
- Biting.
- Snapping.
- Growling.
- Severe anxiety.
- Escape attempts.
- Aggression toward people or animals.
- Sensitivity involving specific body areas.
- Fear of dryers, water, clippers, nail trimming, or handling.
FurFab may use reasonable, humane handling and safety methods appropriate for grooming.
We do not guarantee that every requested service can be completed. If the pet becomes excessively stressed, aggressive, unsafe, or difficult to handle, we may:
- Pause the service.
- Modify the grooming plan.
- Complete only part of the service.
- Contact the customer for instructions.
- Require immediate pickup.
- Recommend veterinary or specialized grooming assistance.
- Refuse future services.
The customer remains responsible for charges related to the time, labor, products, and services performed before the appointment was stopped.
Additional handling charges may apply when disclosed to and authorized by the customer.
10. Kennel-Free Environment
FurFab promotes a 100% kennel-free grooming experience intended to provide pets with a more comfortable and relaxing visit.
“100% kennel-free” means that FurFab does not routinely place pets in traditional grooming cages as part of its standard service model.
For safety reasons, pets may still need to be temporarily separated, secured, supervised, leashed, placed in a designated waiting area, or otherwise safely managed when necessary.
The kennel-free environment does not mean pets will be permitted to move freely without supervision or appropriate safety controls.
Customers must inform FurFab if their pet is not comfortable around other animals or requires individual separation.
11. Matting and Severely Tangled Coats
Customers must disclose known matting, tangles, skin issues, or coat neglect when requesting an appointment.
Severe matting can restrict circulation, trap moisture, conceal wounds, irritate the skin, and make grooming more difficult.
When a coat is heavily matted, FurFab may recommend or require a short haircut or shave-down rather than prolonged dematting.
The customer understands that removing severely matted hair may reveal:
- Irritated skin.
- Bruising.
- Sores.
- Redness.
- Parasites.
- Lumps.
- Wounds.
- Skin conditions previously hidden by the coat.
Mat removal may also temporarily cause sensitivity, redness, uneven coat appearance, changes in coat texture, or increased awareness of air and temperature on the skin.
We will make reasonable efforts to communicate significant findings. However, some conditions may not become visible until grooming has begun.
Additional charges may apply for excessive matting, coat restoration, specialized handling, extended brushing, or additional grooming time. These charges will be communicated whenever reasonably possible.
12. Fleas, Ticks, and Parasites
If fleas, ticks, lice, or other parasites are found, FurFab may:
- Pause or discontinue the service.
- Provide an appropriate grooming treatment when available.
- Contact the customer.
- Require immediate pickup.
- Recommend veterinary treatment.
- Apply an additional cleaning, sanitation, or parasite-handling charge.
FurFab does not diagnose or medically treat parasite infestations.
The customer is responsible for veterinary care and for any costs associated with the condition.
13. Skin, Coat, Ear, and Nail Conditions
Grooming may reveal pre-existing conditions that were not visible before the service.
FurFab is not responsible for pre-existing conditions, including:
- Skin irritation.
- Hot spots.
- Rashes.
- Wounds.
- Growths or lumps.
- Ear infections.
- Nail disorders.
- Allergic reactions.
- Coat damage.
- Parasite-related conditions.
- Medical conditions concealed by hair or matting.
Nail trimming may occasionally expose or irritate the quick, especially when nails are overgrown, dark, damaged, moving unexpectedly, or difficult to identify.
If minor grooming-related irritation or an accidental quicking occurs, we may provide basic first aid appropriate for a grooming facility and notify the customer.
14. Emergency Veterinary Care Authorization
If FurFab reasonably believes that a pet requires urgent medical attention during an appointment, we will attempt to contact the customer or the designated emergency contact.
If the customer cannot be reached and delaying care may place the pet at risk, the customer authorizes FurFab to contact a licensed veterinarian, emergency veterinary facility, animal control agency, or emergency service provider.
The customer is responsible for veterinary expenses and transportation costs resulting from:
- A pre-existing condition.
- An undisclosed medical condition.
- The pet’s behavior.
- A condition unrelated to FurFab’s negligence.
- Emergency care reasonably requested to protect the pet.
Nothing in these Terms releases FurFab from responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded.
15. Pricing and Estimates
Prices displayed on our website, social media, advertisements, or promotional materials may be starting prices, estimates, or tentative prices.
Final pricing may depend on:
- Pet size and breed.
- Coat type and condition.
- Matting or excessive shedding.
- Temperament.
- Service duration.
- Special handling.
- Product requirements.
- Additional requested services.
- Parasites or sanitation requirements.
- Complexity of the haircut.
- Pet birthday customization.
- Other circumstances discovered during the appointment.
Any price displayed as “starting at” is not a guaranteed final price.
Customers may request an estimate before services begin. Estimates are based on the information available at that time and may change if additional conditions are discovered.
When reasonably possible, FurFab will request approval before performing significant additional services or applying significant additional charges.
16. Payment
Payment is due when services are completed and before the pet leaves the premises, unless another arrangement has been approved in writing.
FurFab may accept payment methods displayed at the location, on the website, or through an authorized payment processor.
Customers are responsible for:
- Service charges.
- Approved additional services.
- Applicable taxes.
- Deposits.
- Late pickup charges.
- Returned-payment fees.
- Chargeback-related costs where legally permitted.
- Emergency expenses authorized under these Terms.
A valid payment method or deposit may be required to reserve certain appointments or services.
17. Deposits
FurFab may require a deposit for:
- New customer appointments.
- Extended grooming appointments.
- Pet birthday experiences.
- Customized services.
- High-demand dates.
- Multiple-pet bookings.
- Previous late cancellations or no-shows.
Deposit requirements and refundability will be disclosed when the appointment is scheduled.
Unless otherwise stated at booking, deposits may be applied to the final service balance.
A deposit may be forfeited when the customer fails to attend, cancels without sufficient notice, or does not comply with the booking terms communicated at the time of reservation.
18. Cancellations and Rescheduling
We respectfully request at least 24 hours’ notice when canceling or rescheduling an appointment.
Late cancellation or rescheduling fees may apply when a customer provides less than 24 hours’ notice.
Repeated cancellations may result in:
- A required deposit.
- Advance payment.
- Restricted appointment availability.
- Refusal of future bookings.
Cancellation terms communicated during booking will form part of these Terms.
FurFab may cancel or reschedule an appointment because of illness, staffing issues, emergencies, weather, equipment problems, safety concerns, or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.
When FurFab cancels an appointment, we will make reasonable efforts to offer another available date.
19. No-Shows
A customer is considered a no-show when they fail to arrive for a confirmed appointment and do not provide reasonable prior notice.
No-shows may result in:
- Loss of the appointment deposit.
- A no-show charge.
- Required prepayment for future appointments.
- Refusal of future bookings.
No-show or cancellation fees will be disclosed before they are charged.
20. Late Arrivals
Customers should arrive at the confirmed appointment time.
Late arrival may reduce the amount of time available for the service and may result in:
- Modification of the requested service.
- Rescheduling.
- Cancellation.
- A late-arrival charge.
- Completion of only essential services.
FurFab cannot guarantee that the complete requested service will be available when the customer arrives late.
21. Pickup and Late Pickup
Customers must remain available and pick up their pets promptly after receiving a completion notification.
Pets may not remain at FurFab for extended daycare or boarding unless expressly agreed.
Late pickup charges may apply when a pet is not collected within the timeframe communicated by FurFab.
If a customer cannot be reached or fails to pick up a pet, FurFab may contact:
- The emergency contact.
- A veterinarian.
- Local animal control.
- Law enforcement.
- Another appropriate authority.
The customer remains responsible for reasonable care, transportation, veterinary, boarding, administrative, and late-pickup expenses.
Leaving a pet without arranging prompt pickup does not transfer ownership or responsibility to FurFab.
22. Grooming Results
We make reasonable efforts to follow customer instructions while prioritizing the pet’s safety, comfort, coat condition, and practical grooming needs.
Photographs, examples, and reference images are for guidance only. We cannot guarantee that a pet’s finished appearance will be identical to another animal, image, previous haircut, or online example.
Results may vary because of:
- Coat texture.
- Hair density.
- Matting.
- Previous haircuts.
- Skin condition.
- Pet behavior.
- Movement.
- Breed characteristics.
- Grooming tolerance.
- Requested coat length.
Safety and comfort take priority over cosmetic preferences.
23. Service Concerns and Grooming Adjustments
Customers should inspect the grooming result at pickup and communicate concerns promptly.
Requests for reasonable grooming adjustments should be made within 48 hours after completion of the service.
FurFab may offer a reasonable adjustment when:
- The concern relates directly to the original grooming instructions.
- The pet’s coat and behavior permit the adjustment.
- The adjustment can be performed safely.
- The request does not involve a new style or additional service.
Adjustments are provided at FurFab’s professional discretion.
A change of preference after the service is completed does not necessarily qualify as a complimentary adjustment.
24. Refund Policy
Because grooming and spa services involve time, labor, professional products, and completed personal services, payments are generally non-refundable once the service has been performed.
A refund is not automatically available because:
- The customer changes their style preference.
- The pet’s coat could not support the requested style.
- The pet’s behavior prevented completion.
- The service was modified for safety.
- A pre-existing condition was discovered.
- The customer provided inaccurate or incomplete information.
FurFab may, at its discretion, provide:
- A grooming adjustment.
- A partial refund.
- A service credit.
- A future-service discount.
- Another reasonable resolution.
Approved refunds will generally be issued to the original payment method. Processing times may depend on the applicable bank or payment provider.
Nothing in this section limits any non-waivable rights available under applicable law.
25. Right to Refuse or Discontinue Service
FurFab reserves the right to refuse, suspend, modify, or discontinue service when reasonably necessary, including when:
- The pet presents a safety risk.
- The pet is excessively stressed.
- The customer has not disclosed relevant information.
- The customer engages in abusive, threatening, discriminatory, or inappropriate behavior.
- Payment obligations remain unpaid.
- The requested service is unsafe or impractical.
- The pet appears ill or contagious.
- Continuing could harm the pet, employees, customers, or other animals.
- The customer repeatedly violates appointment policies.
- The service falls outside FurFab’s professional scope.
FurFab may decline future appointments at its discretion, subject to applicable law.
26. Pet Birthday Experiences
Pet birthday services may include customized decorations, photography areas, themed setups, treats supplied or approved by the customer, and other celebration elements.
Customers must disclose:
- Food allergies.
- Dietary restrictions.
- Behavioral concerns.
- Sensitivity to decorations or sounds.
- Whether other animals will attend.
- Any veterinary restrictions.
Decorations, colors, themes, products, and setups may vary based on availability.
Additional rules, deposits, guest limits, cleanup charges, cancellation terms, or safety requirements may apply to birthday services and will be communicated during booking.
27. Photographs and Videos
FurFab may request permission to photograph or record pets for:
- Grooming records.
- Before-and-after comparisons.
- Customer communication.
- Training and quality control.
- Website content.
- Social media.
- Advertising or promotional materials.
Promotional use of a pet’s image will be subject to customer consent where required.
Customers may request that their pet not appear in promotional content by informing FurFab before or during the appointment.
We will not intentionally publish the customer’s private contact details with a pet photograph.
28. Communications
By providing a telephone number or email address, the customer authorizes FurFab to send communications related to:
- Appointment requests.
- Confirmations.
- Reminders.
- Pickup notifications.
- Service questions.
- Payment matters.
- Policy updates.
- Customer support.
- Safety or emergency concerns.
Marketing communications may be sent when consent has been provided or when otherwise permitted by law.
Customers may opt out of promotional messages, but they may continue to receive necessary appointment or transaction-related communications.

Submitting the contact form does not create an appointment or guarantee an immediate response.

Our website may contain links to or integrations with:
- Social media platforms.
- Maps.
- Payment processors.
- Appointment platforms.
- Review websites.
- Messaging services.
- Other third-party resources.
FurFab does not control third-party websites and is not responsible for their availability, content, privacy practices, security, terms, or actions.
Use of third-party services is subject to the third party’s own policies.
35. Privacy

By using our website or services, you acknowledge that you have reviewed the Privacy and Cookie Policy.

FurFab is not responsible for the loss or damage of items such as:
- Decorative collars.
- Tags.
- Clothing.
- Toys.
- Blankets.
- Carriers.
- Leashes.
- Accessories.
unless the loss or damage results from conduct for which liability cannot lawfully be excluded.
37. Assumption of Ordinary Grooming Risks
The customer understands that grooming involves handling, bathing, drying, brushing, clipping, trimming, nail care, and interaction with grooming equipment.
Even when reasonable care is used, grooming may involve ordinary risks, particularly for pets that are elderly, anxious, aggressive, medically fragile, severely matted, or unaccustomed to grooming.
The customer authorizes FurFab to perform the agreed services using reasonable professional judgment and humane grooming practices.
38. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the website and services are provided on an “as available” basis.
FurFab does not guarantee:
- Uninterrupted website access.
- Error-free website operation.

- That grooming will resolve medical, behavioral, skin, coat, or dental conditions.
Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot legally be excluded.
39. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, FurFab will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages arising from website use or service-related matters.
FurFab is not responsible for harm resulting from:
- Pre-existing health conditions.
- Undisclosed medical or behavioral information.
- Natural coat conditions.
- The pet’s unpredictable movement or behavior.
- Customer failure to follow instructions.
- Third-party services.
- Events outside FurFab’s reasonable control.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for gross negligence, intentional misconduct, fraud, or any liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
40. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, customers agree to be responsible for losses, claims, damages, or expenses resulting from:
- False information provided to FurFab.
- Failure to disclose a known bite history or medical condition.
- The customer’s violation of these Terms.
- Unauthorized submission of another person’s information.
- Damage or injury caused by the pet that was not the result of FurFab’s negligence.
This provision does not require a customer to indemnify FurFab for FurFab’s own negligence or unlawful conduct.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, invalid, or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted or removed if necessary.
The remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
